Absolutely beautiful candle the smell is amazing

This candle smells warm and luxurious with vanilla and oud notes. It burns evenly and lasts a long time. Highly recommended!

I’d like to start by saying I love this brand and have really come to treasure some of their perfume oils like “Rose Oud” “Spiced Oud” and more recently “Vivid Oud” and “Oud Embers”.
To be fair, Oud Vanilla wouldn’t have been my first choice but it was the only candle they had in stock and I wanted to test it out. I am left wishing it was less vanilla and more of the other scent profiles listed in it’s description. It lacks that spicy complexity that excited me about this brand. The scent is washed over totally by a strong, and quite basic smelling vanilla profile. Although it is pleasant enough and does a decent job of scenting the room, it does not smell like luxury or leave your senses enchanted in any way.
I think the design of the glass container looks a lot more sophisticated than the short tumblr style of the other candles but it might also be nice to have a kind of in between where the candle emits light through the semi transparent casing without looking like a candle has been poured into a cheap whisky glass. I will try the “Rose Oud” candle if that comes back in stock and I would be first in line if they did a “Vivid Oud” or “Oud Embers candle”. Hoping of course that the scent lives up to their perfume oils counter parts.
